Co-creation + Public Outreach
MAPS members have international experience leading design workshops, community engagement meetings, and public outreach initiatives in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the United States. We  aim to engage with multicultural and diverse audiences to develop inclusive design proposals that are both socially and environmentally informed. Our team has been participating in community engagement events since 2014, first in China and currently in the USA. Our international background (American, Chinese and Spanish) encourages us to make sure no voice is unheard, especially in diversified communities. Making design processes transparent to the public is a critical part of our agenda. We are constantly experimenting with media to improve the communication between designers, citizens, and decision makers.
